Breaking through the Walls of the Classroom
Clif Mims

Telecommunication and telecollaboration are beginning to play major roles in the field of education. Teachers and students are no longer bound by the walls of the classroom. Many current Web 2.0 tools are making it possible for students, classes, teachers, and experts to connect with each other making it possible to connect the classroom with the outside world in new and engaging ways. The presentation will highlight strategies for telecollaborating and provide hands-on practice.

Review the pre-conference online discussion of this topic.

These are the slides for my workshop/presentation. Unfortunately the animations and effects were lost when uploaded to SlideShare. I hope to create a Vidcast or SlideCast of this presentation once things settle down.
