Has anyone been able to move or delete a page?
Jul 22 2008, 9:38 PM EDT
In wet paint, there is usually an option under "more tools" to move a page but there is not that option here (unless I am missing it). I've tried in 3 different browsers. Does anyone else have the option to move pages? If possible, it might be a good idea to rearrange the pages in the sequence suggested on the course topics page.

I wanted to to because I needed to change one of my titles. but it wouldn't let me. I think the option of deleting a page is not available under more tools. Please let me know of you find out. Thanks.

Hey! Devin from Wetpaint here, I saw your thread and wanted to let you the quick answer. Only moderators and up can delete pages within a site, and it is located on the "more tools" drop down, however, moderators can delete any page except the home page. Hopefully this helps, let me know if you have any other questions! 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

I'm having the same problem: using Windows both IE and Firefox. Had Dr. Mims on Skype the other night, and he saw the move-a-page feature in real time, but I could not. I got Dr. Mims to delete a starter page that ended up in the wrong location.... Discovered that where the cursor "IS" on the list of pages when you use the AddAPage link determines where the new page ends up. Perhaps that is also restricted to a moderator-level permission. Thanks, Devin. What about "moving" a page? Once it "lands" somewhere, does it take moderator-level or higher to move it?

6. YES I have deleted a page

you have to sign in with your username and password to see the "more tools" option on the page you want to delete (or change the title for). We can edit the pages without signing in, but the "more tools" won't show unless you are signed in. There is a drop down list of options
